Prints in Pieces is a small business set up during lockdown, to help us unplug and return to the simple joys of good old fashioned jigsaws. Notably, they champion female artists around the world, bringing works of art and jigsaw puzzles together seamlessly.

They carry a selection of 500-piece and 1000-piece puzzles, with the cheapest being just £10. If one jigsaw isn’t enough for you, they also have discounted bundles to buy two or three sets together.

I was gifted a set for my birthday — a 1000-piece puzzle called Table Manners, featuring vibrant original artwork by Imo Crossland, an artist and illustrator from Manchester. The set is beautifully packaged in a sturdy box, with all the pieces in a cotton tote bag (as modelled by my glamorous helper!). The box and the pieces are made with recycled cardboard making it an eco-conscious option.

The finished puzzle measures 19x24 inches and looked too good not to frame. Now it’s just waiting to take pride of place in my home office…
