Puzzle Selection is 30 years old and we’ve pulled out all the stops to make a birthday issue worth buying.
Every five years, Puzzle Selection has a big birthday that we love to celebrate. I can hardly believe I’ve been involved in three of them now, even though I’m only six years older than the magazine.
As well as the usual crosswords, codebreakers and sudoku, we’ve packed in as many birthday-themed puzzles as we can. I particularly love the work our illustrator did on the 30th birthday cake for our ‘spot the difference’ picture puzzle.
Our illustrators and puzzle-makers don’t get nearly enough credit. I asked them to include a few 30-themed questions, but they went above and beyond. The ’pub quiz’ is themed from beginning to end!
We’ve also taken the chance to pat ourselves on the back with some puzzles specifically about Puzzle Selection to really celebrate all that we’ve achieved over the last 30 years.
