1 Stab in the back (the word ‘STAB’ is written within the word ‘BACK’).

2 FOES (when written out, the first letters of each of the numbers combine to spell ‘FOES’).

3 Diane – because her name has 5 letters, like all the others in that row of the pyramid.

4 ‘HUSH’ is the odd one out. All of the other words create other words when you spell them backwards.

5 The missing number is 5. Each number is the sum of the dashes that the number before it in the sequence consists of.
