Jenny is one of our Editors. She has been a member of Puzzles HQ for over eight years, since she joined as an Editorial Assistant who never dreamt that her puzzle-solving hobby could also be her career.
Jenny has always had an interest in computer games, puzzle books and being quizzed. Back in the Noughties, she was a keen reader of the Puzzle HQ’s very own Da Vinci Puzzles magazine – how’s that for full circle?
Quiz nights and TV game shows were a regular feature of Jenny’s childhood, and she got into cryptic crosswords when she began buying the newspaper at university. Thus began a love affair that has swallowed up countless hours, and much pen ink.
Coming from a small family of board game enthusiasts, Jenny and her parents regularly get together to continue their ongoing Gloomhaven campaign, and have even started on the next generation: Jenny’s daughter is now the proud owner of The Gruffalo Deep Dark Wood Board Game.
Jenny is a regular driver on the busman’s holiday route, and still tackles the cryptic crossword in the newspaper every day, along with solving the crosswords, wordsearches and arrowwords that are the bread and butter of Puzzles HQ.
